CITY CHURCH REOPENING GUIDELINES:

City Church is taking the necessary precautions to minimize any health risks to its congregants. Among other things, our church will be cleaning and sanitizing the sanctuary and strictly observing social distancing norms. However, we cannot completely eliminate the risk of exposure. By participating in our activities, the congregant is assuming the risk that may result in exposure to communicable diseases.

FOR STAFF

  • Staff will be medically screened (questions and temperature will be taken) before entering the building. Staff found to not pass the screening will be asked to go home.

  • Staff will be required to wear face coverings upon entering the building. Staff participating on platform will not be required to wear face coverings on the platform but will be required to wear face coverings off the platform.

FOR BUILDING

  • Building will be disinfected by an outside cleaning service every week (per New Life Community Church).

  • Every chair setup for the congregation will be disinfected prior to the service.

  • Seats will be spread apart so that rows are 6’ apart.

  • There will be clear signs at the entry of the building and at the entry of the auditorium to remind everyone of Social Distancing and proper hygiene.

  • There will be a designated entrance and exit to the building. Doors will be propped open as to avoid unnecessary contact with surfaces.

  • Only one adult person allowed into the restrooms unless it is a child needing to be accompanied by their parent.

  • Water fountains will be closed.

  • There will be a hand sanitizing station upon entering the building.

FOR CONGREGANTS

  • The use of face coverings is recommended. We will have face coverings for those who may have forgotten to bring one. Show us your mask styles!

  • Please remember to social distance (6’ apart).

  • Members of the same household will be asked to sit together on the same row.

  • Please enter through designated entrances and exit through designated exits.

  • Please sanitize hands upon entering the building and use proper hygiene upon the use of the facilities.

  • If you have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 10 days, for the safety of others please stay home.

  • If you have had a fever or any other symptoms related to COVID-19 in the past 3 days, please stay home.

  • Please refrain from shaking hands, hugging, or any physical contact with people outside of your household. Air High-Fives are the way to go!

  • There will be no altar calls until further notice.

  • There will be no turn and greet time during the service until further notice.

  • If you are 65 or older, it is recommended that you stay home.

  • There will be no Ignite classes or Spark classes until further notice.

  • Services will have a duration of no longer than 75 minutes.

Thank you for your understanding of this situation. We are praying for our City Church family and friends, that God will give us the wisdom and direction on how to navigate these times and how best to keep us all safe and healthy.
